Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway (Norwegian pronunciation: [ˈhòːkɔn]; Haakon Magnus; born 20 July 1973) is the only son of King Harald V and Queen Sonja, and heir apparent to the throne of Norway. In 2001, Haakon married Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby with whom he has two children: Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus. He has an older sister, Princess Märtha Louise.
