Jesus
Gesù di Nazareth (in aramaico יֵשׁוּעַ, Yēšūa'; in greco antico Ἰησοῦς (Iēsoûs); in latino Iesus; in arabo عيسى (ʿĪsā); Betlemme, 7 a.C.-1 a.C. – Gerusalemme, 26-36) è il fondatore e la figura centrale del cristianesimo, religione che lo riconosce come il Cristo e Messia (figura ancora attesa dalla tradizione ebraica) e come Dio fatto uomo. Durante gli ultimi anni della sua vita, Gesù svolse l'attività di predicatore, guaritore ed esorcista in Galilea e nella provincia romana della Giudea, in Palestina. Gesù è un adattamento del nome aramaico יֵשׁוּעַ (Yeshua in italiano Giosuè), che significa "Yahweh è salvezza" o "Yahweh salva".
