Martin Buber

Martin Mordechai Buber (Vienna, 8 febbraio 1878 – Gerusalemme, 13 giugno 1965) è stato un filosofo, teologo e pedagogista austriaco naturalizzato israeliano. Si deve a lui l'emersione alla cultura europea del movimento hassidim, ma soprattutto a lui si deve l'idea che la vita è fondamentalmente non-soggettività, bensì intersoggettività, anzi per Buber soggetto e intersoggettività sono sincronicamente complementari e ne era talmente convinto che non esitò ad affermare: «In principio è la relazione».
