Scià Ismāʿīl II (nato Ismail Mirza, in persiano شاه اسماعیل دوم‎; Qom, 31 maggio 1537 – Qazvin, 24 novembre 1577) è stato un sovrano persiano della dinastia safavide, che rimase al potere come scià dal 1576 al 1577. Secondogenito di Tahmasp I e della principale consorte di quest'ultimo, Sultanum Begum, per ordine di suo padre Ismail trascorse vent'anni imprigionato nel castello di Qahqaheh. La ragione va rintracciata nella diffidenza che Tahmasp riponeva nel figlio, ritenendolo responsabile per i ricorrenti conflitti con gli influenti vassalli del regno e per la sua crescente popolarità tra le tribù dei Kizilbash.
