Ricardo Alberto Martinelli Berrocal (born March 11, 1952) is a Panamanian politician and businessman who was the 36th president of Panama from 2009 to 2014. Ricardo Martinelli was sentenced to ten years in prison in 2024 for embezzlement of public funds and money laundering.
