Patricia Ryan Nixon (born Thelma Catherine Ryan; March 16, 1912 – June 22, 1993) was an American educator who had served as first lady of the United States from 1969 to 1974 as the wife of the 37th president of the United States, Richard Nixon. She had also served as second lady of the United States from 1953 to 1961 when her husband was vice president.
