1. Michel Henry (1922 - 2002)

With an HPI of 53.85, Michel Henry is the most famous Vietnamese Philosopher.  Her biography has been translated into 15 different languages on wikipedia.

Michel Henry (French: [ɑ̃ʁi]; 10 January 1922 – 3 July 2002) was a French philosopher, phenomenologist and novelist. He wrote five novels and numerous philosophical works. He also lectured at universities in France, Belgium, the United States, and Japan.

2. Phan Thanh Giản (1796 - 1867)

With an HPI of 48.01, Phan Thanh Giản is the 2nd most famous Vietnamese Philosopher.  His biography has been translated into 19 different languages.

Phan Thanh Giản (November 11, 1796– August 4, 1867) was a Grand Counsellor at the Nguyễn court in Vietnam. He led an embassy to France in 1863, and committed suicide when France completed the invasion of Southern Vietnam (Cochinchina) in 1867.
