With an HPI of 53.58, Antiphilus is the most famous Egyptian Painter.  His biography has been translated into 15 different languages on wikipedia.

Antiphilus (Ancient Greek: Ἀντίφιλος) was an ancient Greek painter from Naucratis, Egypt, in the age of Alexander the Great. He worked for Philip II of Macedon and Ptolemy I of Egypt. Thus, he was a contemporary of Apelles, whose rival he is said to have been, but he seems to have worked in quite another style. Quintilian speaks of his facility: the descriptions of his works which have come down to us show that he excelled in light and shade, in genre representations, and in caricature.

2. Amasis Painter (-550 - -510)

With an HPI of 51.36, Amasis Painter is the 2nd most famous Egyptian Painter.  His biography has been translated into 18 different languages.

The Amasis Painter (active around 550–510 BC in Athens) was an ancient Greek vase painter who worked in the black-figure technique. He owes his name to the signature of the potter Amasis ("Amasis made me"), who signed twelve works painted by the same hand. At the time of the exhibition, "The Amasis Painter and His World" (1985), 132 vases had been attributed to this artist.

With an HPI of 49.38, Inji Aflatoun is the 3rd most famous Egyptian Painter.  Her biography has been translated into 19 different languages.

Inji Aflatoun (Arabic: إنجي أفلاطون; 16 April 1924 – 17 April 1989) was an Egyptian painter and activist in the women's movement. She was a "leading spokeswoman for the Marxist-progressive-nationalist-feminist movement in the late 1940s and 1950s", as well as a "pioneer of modern Egyptian art" and "one of the important Egyptian visual artists".

With an HPI of 40.72, Ghada Amer is the 4th most famous Egyptian Painter.  Her biography has been translated into 19 different languages.

Ghada Amer (Arabic: غادة عامر; May 22, 1963, in Cairo, Egypt) is a contemporary artist, much of her work deals with issues of gender and sexuality. Her most notable body of work involves highly layered embroidered paintings of women's bodies referencing pornographic imagery. Amer had previously emigrated from Egypt to France at the age of 11 and was educated in Paris and Nice. She is currently living and working in New York City.
