Yakov Anufrievich Rylsky (Russian: Яков Ануфриевич Рыльский) (25 October 1928 – 9 December 1999) was an Olympic champion and three-time world champion Russian sabre fencer who competed for the Soviet Union. He took part in three Olympic Games and won two medals in the team events.

Wladimir Resnitschenko (born 27 July 1965) is a Soviet fencer. He won a bronze medal in the team épée event at the 1988 Summer Olympics representing the Soviet Union. At the 1992 Summer Olympics, he won a gold in the same event representing Germany.

Sofiya Aleksandrovna Velikaya (Russian: Софья Александровна Великая, IPA: [ˈsofʲjə vʲɪˈlʲikəjə]; born 8 June 1985) is a Russian sabre fencer. Velikaya is a former European champion (four-time individual, six-time team), world champion (two-time individual, six-time team), and two-time Olympic team champion. She competed in the 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympics, and is a three-time individual silver medalist. She dedicated her team's 2016 Olympic gold medal to those Russians who had been banned for doping. In January 2024, Velikaya was included in the list of proxies of presidential candidate Vladimir Putin in the 2024 Russian presidential election.

Sergey Viktorovich Khodos (Russian: Сергей Викторович Ходос, IPA: [sʲɪrˈɡʲej ˈxodəs]; born 14 July 1986) is a Russian right-handed épée fencer, three-time team European champion, two-time Olympian, and 2021 team Olympic silver medalist. Khodos competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. His clubs are the Central Sports Army Club, and SC Vulkan Zvenigorod. He first competed for Kazakhstan, winning the team gold medal at the 2006 Junior World Championships, a team bronze medal at the 2006 Asian Games and an individual silver medal. He then switched to Russia, joining the national team in 2010. With them he was team bronze medallist at the 2011 and 2014 European Championships. He placed fourth at the 2010 and 2014 World Championships, also with the team.
