1. Silvio Cator (1900 - 1952)

Sylvio or Silvio Paul Cator (October 19, 1900 – July 21, 1952) was a Haitian athlete most successful in the long jump. He earned a silver medal in the long jump at the 1928 Summer Olympics.

Bruny Surin (born July 12, 1967) is a Canadian former track and field athlete, who was the winner of a gold medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 2008 he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 1996 Summer Olympics 4x100 relay team. In the 100 metres, he has broken the 10-second barrier multiple times and holds a personal record of 9.84 seconds.

3. Constantin Henriquez (1850 - 1942)

With an HPI of 43.04, Constantin Henriquez is the 3rd most famous Haitian Athlete.  His biography has been translated into 18 different languages.

Constantin Henriquez was a Haitian-born French rugby union footballer. He played as number eight, wing and centre.Henriquez was the first known black athlete to compete in the Olympic Games, and the first to become an Olympic gold medallist, as he was a member of the French squad that won the Olympic title at the first Rugby Olympic Tournament. He played at Olympique de Paris and Stade Français. He won as a Stade Français player the titles of French Champion, in 1897, 1898 and 1901.He introduced football in his country of Haiti in 1904, and scored the first goal in Haiti during a competition. He co-founded with his brother Alphonse the Union Sportive Haïtienne. By 1950 he was a Senator.

4. Barbara Pierre (b. 1986)

Barbara Pierre (born April 28, 1986) is a Haitian-born American track and field sprint athlete who competed internationally for the United States. Her specialty is the 60-meter dash and the 100-meter dash. She had her highest world ranking in 2013, when she was the fourth fastest sprinter in the world over 100 m with her personal best of 10.85 seconds.Pierre represented Haiti at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She competed at the 100 m sprint and placed fourth in her first round heat, which normally meant elimination. However, her time of 11.52 was among the ten fastest losing times, resulting in a second round spot. There she failed to qualify for the semi-finals as her time of 11.56 was the fifth time of her race.At the 2015 Pan American Games, she set the games record of 10.92 seconds in the preliminary round. In the final, she was slightly slower and went home with the bronze medal.Pierre would continue to compete until the age of 35 when she would retire and take up coaching at her alma mater St. Augustine University as a Volunteer Assistant.

5. Wadeline Jonathas (b. 1998)

Wadeline Jonathas (born February 19, 1998) is an American track and field athlete. She won gold medal in the women's 4 × 400 meters event at the 2019 World Athletics Championships and finished in 4th place in the 400 meters, in 49.60 seconds. Jonathas represents United States in women's 400 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
