Marco Aurelio Valerio Massenzio (in latino Marcus Aurelius Valerius Maxentius; 278 – Roma, 28 ottobre 312) è stato un imperatore romano autoproclamato, che governò l'Italia e l'Africa tra il 306 e il 312; ebbe il riconoscimento del Senato romano, ma non quello degli augusti Galerio e Severo (da lui fatto uccidere), che riconosceranno invece Costantino, motivo per cui alcuni storici lo considerano in realtà un usurpatore. Figlio dell'imperatore Massimiano, coregnante di Diocleziano, e di Eutropia. Secondo la volontà di Diocleziano e Massimiano, Costantino e Massenzio, figli rispettivamente di Costanzo Cloro e Massimiano stesso, avrebbero dovuto subentrare come cesari di Costanzo e Galerio, ma questi ultimi non li scelsero, optando per Severo e Massimino.
