Pêro da Covilhã (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈpeɾu ðɐ kuviˈʎɐ̃]; c. 1460 – after 1526), sometimes written Pero de Covilhăo, was a Portuguese diplomat and explorer.He was a native of Covilhã in Beira.
