Nông Đức Mạnh (Vietnamese: [nəwŋm ɗɨ́k mâjŋ̟ˀ] ; born 11 September 1940) is a Vietnamese politician who served as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the most powerful position in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, from 22 April 2001 to 19 January 2011.
