Nuri Şahin (Turkish: [ˈnuɾi ʃaːˈhin], German: [ˈnuːʁi ˈʃaːhɪn]; born 5 September 1988) is a professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is currently the head coach of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. He began his playing career at Dortmund, spending six years there – including a year-long loan at Feyenoord – and winning the Bundesliga in 2011 before signing for Real Madrid in 2011 for €10 million.
