Nisha Mohota is an Indian chess player renowned for becoming the youngest Woman International Master (WIM) in India at age 14 in 1995 and the first Woman Grandmaster (WGM) from West Bengal in 2003, while also earning the International Master (IM) title in 2011 with a peak FIDE rating of 2416. She won the Women's Indian Chess Championship in 2005, competed in the Women's World Chess Championships of 2001 and 2008, and represented India in multiple Chess Olympiads (2004, 2008, 2010) and Asian Team Championships.
