Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale (Punjabi: [dʒəɾnɛːl sɪ́ŋɡ pɪ̀ɳɖɾãːʋaːɭe]; born Jarnail Singh Brar; 2 June 1947 – 6 June 1984) leader of the Sikh organization Damdami Taksal. He gained prominence due to his involvement in the 1978 Sikh-Nirankari clash.
