Jan Józef Ignacy Łukasiewicz (Polish pronunciation: [iɡˈnat͡sɨ wukaˈɕɛvit͡ʂ]; 8 March 1822 – 7 January 1882) was a Polish pharmacist, engineer, businessman, inventor, and philanthropist.
