Félix-Henri "Henry" Bataille (4 April 1872, in Nîmes – 2 March 1922, in Rueil-Malmaison) was a French dramatist and poet. His works were popular between 1900 and the start of World War I. dans un hotel particulier de l'avenue Friedland.-un salon fumoir, vaste, attenant par le fond au grand salon. C'est une piece d'assez grand luxe raffine. Tout est tendu d'etoffes rares de l'Inde, tres flottantes, meme le plafond, mais sans verser dans le mauvais gout. Le piano a queue recouvert d'une admirable vieille chose asiatique qui traine a terre. -la porte qui separe le grand salon, et qui est fermee au lever du rideau, est toute en vitraux Tiffany, opalins, ni trop clairs ni trop fonces. -au milieu de tout cela, pourtant, la tache brutale qui marque des gens d'affaires : le telephone dans un coin, pres du piano, -une table encombree de papiers, des journaux qui trainent, etc... eclairage doux et dissimule. -quatre jeunes gens et un monsieur d'une cinquantaine d'annees, tous en habit, causent en fumant. Richard De Rysbergue, Paulot De Rysbergue, Louis Soubrian, Lignieres, Soubrian pere.Richard. -elle est encore bien.Louis Soubrian. -conservee... mais rudement touchee... tout ce que tu voudras, elle est trop vieille pour toi.
