Edin Džeko (Bosnian pronunciation: [ědin dʒêːko]; born 17 March 1986) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a striker for and captains both Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Regarded as one of the best strikers of his generation, he is the all-time top goalscorer and most capped player of the Bosnian national team.
