Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr (Arabic: أسماء بنت أبي بكر; c. 595/594 – 694-695CE) nicknamed Dhat an-Nitaqayn (meaning she with the two belts) was one of the companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and half-sister of his third wife Aisha.
