1. Hemma of Gurk (980 - 1045)

With an HPI of 62.31, Hemma of Gurk is the most famous Slovene Religious Figure.  Her biography has been translated into 18 different languages on wikipedia.

Hemma of Gurk (German: Hemma von Gurk; c. 995 – 27 June 1045), also called Emma of Gurk (Slovene: Ema Krška), was a noblewoman and founder of several churches and monasteries in the Duchy of Carinthia. Buried at Gurk Cathedral since 1174, she was beatified on 21 November 1287 and canonised on 5 January 1938 by Pope Pius XI. Her feast day is 27 June. Hemma is venerated as a saint by both the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church, and as patroness of the current Austrian state of Carinthia.

2. Primož Trubar (1508 - 1586)

With an HPI of 59.46, Primož Trubar is the 2nd most famous Slovene Religious Figure.  His biography has been translated into 34 different languages.

Primož Trubar or Primus Truber () (1508 – 28 June 1586) was a Slovene Protestant Reformer of the Lutheran tradition, mostly known as the author of the first Slovene language printed book, the founder and the first superintendent of the Protestant Church of the Duchy of Carniola, and for consolidating the Slovenian language. Trubar introduced The Reformation in Slovenia, leading the Austrian Habsburgs to wage the Counter-Reformation, which a small Protestant community survived. Trubar is a key figure of Slovenian history and in many aspects a major historical personality.

3. Franc Rode (b. 1934)

With an HPI of 56.15, Franc Rode is the 3rd most famous Slovene Religious Figure.  His biography has been translated into 23 different languages.

Franc Rode (or Rodé; born 23 September 1934) is a Slovenian cardinal of the Catholic Church. He is the prefect emeritus of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, having served as prefect from 2004 to 2011. He was elevated to the cardinalate in 2006. He was raised to the rank of cardinal-priest on 20 June 2016 by Pope Francis.

4. Jurij Dalmatin (1547 - 1589)

With an HPI of 51.01, Jurij Dalmatin is the 4th most famous Slovene Religious Figure.  His biography has been translated into 18 different languages.

Jurij Dalmatin (c. 1547 – 31 August 1589) was a Slovene Lutheran minister, reformer, writer and translator. He translated the complete Bible into Slovene.

5. Lojze Grozde (1923 - 1943)

Lojze Grozde (27 May 1923 – 1 January 1943) was a Slovenian student who was murdered by Partisans during World War II. His death is recognised as martyrdom by the Catholic Church. He was beatified on 13 June 2010.

Aloysius Matthew Ambrozic (born Alojzij Matej Ambrožič; January 27, 1930 – August 26, 2011) was a Roman Catholic cardinal and Archbishop of Toronto. He was made a cardinal on 21 February 1998.
