Ľuboš Micheľ (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈʎubɔʂ ˈmixeʎ]; born 16 May 1968) is a retired Slovak football referee. He is considered one of the best Slovak international referees in the history. He regularly refereed Champions League matches with the highlight being at the 2008 Champions League final between Manchester United and Chelsea. He officiated at World Cups in 2002 and 2006 and at the 2004 and 2008 EUROs. He ended his refereeing career in 2008.

2. Ivan Kružliak (b. 1984)
With an HPI of 40.44, Ivan Kružliak is the 2nd most famous Slovak Referee. His biography has been translated into 19 different languages.
Ivan Kružliak (born 24 March 1984) is a Slovak football referee. Kružliak mostly serves as referee in the Niké liga, Slovakias' highest level football league, and UEFA Competitions: Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. Kružliak has also refereed in international matches, participating to World Cup Qualifiers in Europe, Euro Qualifications, UEFA Nations League and Euro 2024. He also serves as referee in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification between England and Moldova at the Wembley Stadium, which ended in a 4–0 victory for the former. In May 2024, Kružliak was appointed by UEFA as the fourth official for the 2024 UEFA Europa League final between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen.
