El Hadji Tacko Sereigne Diop Fall (born 10 December 1995) is a Senegalese professional basketball player for the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). He has previously played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers. Fall was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal. He moved to the United States at age 16 and later played college basketball for the University of Central Florida (UCF). Fall went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, but later signed with the Boston Celtics. During his two seasons in Boston, he became a fan favorite. He signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers as a free agent in 2021. At 7 feet 6 inches (2.29 metres), Fall was one of the tallest NBA players and is one of the tallest living humans. At the 2019 NBA Draft Combine, his measurements set all-time NBA records for tallest height in shoes (7 ft 7 in; 2.31 m), longest wingspan (8 ft 2.25 in; 250 cm), and highest standing reach (10 ft 2.5 in; 3.11 m). The NBA now lists players' heights without shoes, so Fall is listed at 7 ft 6 in (2.29 m).

Émilie Gomis (born 18 October 1983) is a French-Senegalese professional basketball player playing point guard position. She played for Fenerbahçe of the TWBL league. She wore the number 4. Competing for France, she won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. In January 2024, Gomis declined an offer to be an ambassador for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The organising committee for the games confirmed her refusal in a statement. Gomis published an anti-Israel post on Instagram before announcing the decision.

Gorgui Sy Dieng (; GOR-ghee JENG; born January 18, 1990) is a Senegalese former professional basketball player currently working as a basketball operations representative with the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals. Dieng was selected as the 21st overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz and was traded on draft night to the Minnesota Timberwolves. He spent seven seasons with the team before being dealt to the Memphis Grizzlies in February 2020. He reached a contract buyout agreement with the Grizzlies in March 2021 and joined the San Antonio Spurs in free agency. He signed with the Hawks in August 2021. In July 2022, he returned to the Spurs. On December 9, 2023, Dieng retired from basketball.
