Constantius II. (altgriechisch Κωνστάντιος Β’ Kōnstántios, mit vollständigem römischem Namen Flavius Iulius Constantius; * 7. August 317 in Illyrien, wahrscheinlich in Sirmium; † 3. November 361 in Mopsukrene/Kilikien) war ein Sohn Konstantins des Großen und nach dessen Tod ab 337 Kaiser im Osten des Römischen Reiches. In den anderen Reichsteilen waren zunächst zwei seiner Brüder Kaiser geworden; seit 353 war er nach ihrem Tod und der gewaltsamen Beseitigung eines Usurpators einziger Augustus im gesamten Römischen Reich.
