Xavier Becerra ( HAH-vee-AIR bih-SERR-ə, Latin American Spanish: [xaˈβjeɾ βeˈsera]; born January 26, 1958) is an American attorney and politician serving as the 25th United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, a position he has held since March 2021.
