Ulrika Eleonora of Denmark was a Swedish princess who became Queen of Sweden. She was the daughter of King Charles XI of Sweden and Ulrika Eleonora of Denmark, and granddaughter of King Charles X Gustav of Sweden. Her father, who had been on the throne since 1660, was deposed in 1697 by her uncle, King Charles XII of Sweden. Ulrika Eleonora was then offered the Swedish throne, but refused to take it.
