Philip Michael Rivers (born December 8, 1981) is an American professional football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played 16 seasons with the San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers franchise. Rivers played college football for the NC State Wolfpack, winning ACC Player of the Year and ACC Athlete of the Year between 2003 and 2004. He was selected fourth overall in the 2004 NFL draft by the New York Giants, who traded him to the San Diego Chargers during the draft. Read more on Wikipedia
