Mhairi Black (;[a] born 12 September 1994) is a Scottish politician who served as Deputy Leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) in the House of Commons from 2022 to 2024, and as a Member of Parliament for Paisley and Renfrewshire South from 2015 to 2024. Black was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Paisley and Renfrewshire South in 2015, when she defeated the Labour Party's Shadow Foreign Secretary Douglas Alexander. Read more on Wikipedia
