Actor Ma Dong-seok, also known internationally as Don Lee, is most famous for his breakout role as the tough yet compassionate husband Sang-hwa in the global hit zombie thriller Train to Busan (2016), which propelled him to international stardom, followed by his iconic portrayal of the no-nonsense detective Ma Seok-do in the massively successful The Outlaws (2017) and its sequels in The Roundup series, establishing him as one of Korea's top action stars and most bankable leading men in films like The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil (2019), while crossing over to Hollywood as the powerful Eternal Gilgamesh in Marvel's Eternals (2021). Something surprising about him is that before entering acting, he worked as a personal trainer in the United States, where he trained renowned MMA fighters like Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman, and he was also once an arm-wrestling champion.
