José Luis Gayà Peña (Catalan pronunciation: [dʒoˈze lwis ˈɡaja ˈpeɲa]; born 25 May 1995) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for La Liga club Valencia, whom he captains, and the Spain national team. An academy graduate of Valencia, he made his senior debut in 2012 and went on to play more than 300 competitive matches for the club, winning the Copa del Rey in 2019.
