José Luis Gayà Peña (Valencian pronunciation: [dʒoˈze ˈlwis ɡaˈja ˈpeɲa]; born 25 May 1995) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for La Liga club Valencia, which he captains, and the Spain national team. An academy graduate of Valencia, he made his senior debut in 2012 and went on to play more than 350 competitive matches for the club, winning the Copa del Rey in 2019.
