Joachim Christian Andersen (Danish pronunciation: [ˈɑnɐsn̩]; born 31 May 1996) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Premier League club Fulham and the Denmark national team. After academy stints with numerous Danish clubs, Andersen began his senior career at Dutch club Twente. After a spell in Italy with Sampdoria, he was signed by French club Lyon in 2019.
