Francis Xavier Suarez ( SWAH-rez; born October 6, 1977) is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the 43rd mayor of Miami since 2017. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as a member of the Miami City Commission from 2009 to 2017. He is the son of former Miami mayor Xavier Suarez.
