With an HPI of 45.51, Ri Se-gwang is the most famous North Korean Gymnast.  His biography has been translated into 19 different languages on wikipedia.

Ri Se-gwang (Korean: 리세광; born January 21, 1985) is a retired North Korean artistic gymnast, representing the April 25 Sports Club. He is often considered a specialist on vault apparatus in the sport of men’s artistic gymnastics (MAG).

2. Pae Gil-su (b. 1972)

With an HPI of 38.23, Pae Gil-su is the 2nd most famous North Korean Gymnast.  His biography has been translated into 14 different languages.

Pae Gil-su (Korean: 배길수, also written Pae Kil-su, born March 4, 1972) is a North Korean gymnast. He won the gold medal for the pommel horse at the 1992 Summer Olympics (tied with Vitaly Scherbo). He also won the gold medal at the 27th, 28th and 32nd World Gymnastics Championships. Pae attended Pyongyang Sinri Primary School and the Korean Physical Education College.
