Ali Eid (14 July 1940 – 25 December 2015) was a Lebanese politician. He was the leader of the Alawite Community. He founded the Arab Democratic Party in 1972 and until his death served as General Secretary of the Arab Democratic Party.

Safwan Khalil (born 15 May 1986 in Tripoli, Lebanon) is a taekwondo athlete from Australia. He competed at the London Olympics in the 58 kg division, losing in a bronze medal match against Alexey Denisenko. Born in Tripoli, Lebanon, he has lived in Australia since he was a child, attending Lurnea High School in south-western Sydney and training at his brother's gym, Global Martial Arts. His brother Ali Khalil, is also his coach, and the Australian Olympic coach for 2012., Khalil is engaged to fellow Olympic taekwondo athlete Carmen Marton. The couple were married under Islamic law (but not under Australian civil law) prior to the London Olympics in 2012. Khalil qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympics, which will be his second Olympics as a competitor. Khalil qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. In the men's 58 kg event in the round of 16, he lost to Ramnarong Sawekwiharee 23-7 and therefore did not advance any further in the competition. 3. Ray Bassil (b. 1988)

With an HPI of 19.28, Ray Bassil is the 3rd most famous Lebanese Athlete.  Her biography has been translated into 8 different languages.

Ray Jacques Bassil (Arabic: راي باسيل; born 20 October 1988) is a Lebanese trap shooter. She won gold at the 2016 ISSF World Cup in Nicosia, and at the 2019 Asian Shooting Championships in Doha. Bassil has also four times represented Lebanon at the Olympic Games, in 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024.

4. Noureddine Hadid (b. 1993)

Noureddine Hadid (Arabic: نور الدين حديد; born 28 January 1993) is a Lebanese sprinter. He represented his country in the 200 metres at the 2019 World Championships in Doha without advancing from the first round, although his time in the first round set a new national record of 20.84.
