Sri Chinmoy, né Chinmoy Kumar Ghose le 27 août 1931 à Shakpura (Bangladesh) et mort le 11 octobre 2007 à New York (États-Unis), est un maître spirituel indien, écrivain, poète, artiste peintre et musicien. Dans sa jeunesse, il rejoint l’ashram de Sri Aurobindo en Inde. Il s’établit aux Etats-Unis en 1964 et donne des conférences sur l’hindouisme aux Etats-Unis, en Europe, en Asie et en Australie.
