Tajuddin Ahmad (Bengali: [ˈʈaːdʒudːin ˈaɦmɔd]; Bengali: তাজউদ্দীন আহমদ; 23 July 1925 – 3 November 1975) was a Bengali statesman. He led the Provisional Government of Bangladesh as its prime minister during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971 and is regarded as one of the most instrumental figures in the birth of Bangladesh.
