Shinji Takahira (高平 慎士, Takahira Shinji; born 18 July 1984 in Asahikawa) is a Japanese sprinter who specialises in the 100 and 200 metres. Takahira competed in the 200 m at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2005 World Championships but failed to progress beyond the heats. He took the silver medal at the 2005 Summer Universiade.
