Sandy Lam Yik-lin (林憶蓮; born 26 April 1966), is a Hong Kong singer, actress and producer. She rose to fame in the 1980s, before expanding her fan base significantly in Asia, releasing more than 30 stylistically diverse albums in Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Japanese. As one of the most famous figures in Chinese-language music of 20th and 21st centuries, Sandy is known not just for her commercial success, but also her ability to transform, and willingness to step outside of the frameworks of the genre and industries in which she operates.
