Markus Lynn "Mookie" Betts (born October 7, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder and shortstop for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Boston Red Sox. He is an eight-time All-Star, a seven-time Silver Slugger Award winner, a six-time Gold Glove Award recipient, a three-time World Series champion, and was named the Most Valuable Player in the American League in 2018.
