Miyuki Ishikawa is known for managing Kotobuki San'in maternity home and committing the Kotobuki San'in incident in which she and accomplices murdered dozens of infants. She graduated from Tokyo Imperial University as a midwife on 30 September 1919, ran unsuccessfully in the Shinjuku Ward assembly election in April 1947, and was arrested with her husband on 15 January 1948 after officers found five victims' remains. Police recovered ashes of over seventy infants linked to the maternity home.
