John Michael “Mick” Mulvaney (born July 21, 1967) is an American politician who served as director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) from 2017 to 2020, and as acting White House chief of staff from 2019 to 2020. Prior to his appointments to the Trump administration, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mulvaney, a Republican, served in the South Carolina General Assembly from 2007 to 2011, first in the House of Representatives and then the Senate. He served as a U.S. representative for South Carolina's fifth congressional district from 2011 to 2017. Read more on Wikipedia
