Elizabeth Anne Yarnold (born 31 October 1988) is a British former skeleton racer. She won consecutive Olympic gold medals in 2014 and 2018, making her the first British Winter Olympian to win two gold medals. Having previously competed in heptathlon during her childhood, Yarnold switched to skeleton in 2008 after enrolling in UK Sport's Girls4Gold programme which identified the sport as a good fit for her.
