Jasmine Felicia Crockett (born March 29, 1981) is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 30th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she represented the 100th district in the Texas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. Born and raised in Missouri, Crockett was a public defender for Bowie County, Texas, and later worked as personal injury lawyer before her entry into electoral politics.
