Caterina Volpicelli (21 January 1839 – 28 December 1894) was an Italian Roman Catholic professed religious and the foundress of the Maids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On 29 April 2001 she received beatification from Pope John Paul II and was canonized as a saint of the Roman Catholic Church on 26 April 2009 in a celebration at which Pope Benedict XVI officiated.
