Andre Jamal Drummond (born August 10, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A center, he was selected by the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the 2012 NBA draft with the ninth overall pick. Drummond was one of the top-rated basketball players in the high school class of 2011 and played one season of college basketball with the Connecticut Huskies before declaring for the draft.
