1. Lang Ping (1960 - )

With an HPI of 48.23, Lang Ping is the most famous Chinese Volleyball Player.  Her biography has been translated into 22 different languages on wikipedia.

"Jenny" Lang Ping (Chinese: 郎平; pinyin: Láng Píng; born 10 December 1960) is a Chinese former volleyball player and coach. She is the former head coach of the Chinese women's national volleyball team and U.S. women's national volleyball team. As a player, Lang won the most valuable player award in women's volleyball at the 1984 Olympics. In 2002, Lang became an inductee of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She coached the U.S. women's national team to a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in her home country. Lang later coached the gold medal-winning Chinese women's national team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, becoming the first person in volleyball history, male or female, to have won Olympic gold both as a player and as a coach. Lang is the main character in the 2020 biographical film Leap, in which she is played by actress Gong Li.

Feng Kun (simplified Chinese: 冯坤; traditional Chinese: 馮坤; pinyin: Féng Kūn; born 28 December 1978 in Beijing) is a retired China women's national volleyball team setter and captain. She was awarded MVP and "Best Setter" award at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where China won the gold medal in volleyball.

Zhu Ting (Chinese: 朱婷; pinyin: Zhū Tíng; born 29 November 1994) is a professional Chinese volleyball player. She is an outside hitter and former captain of the Chinese women's volleyball national team. She played for Vakıfbank Istanbul from 2016 to 2019. Currently, she plays for Italian club Savino del Bene Scandicci. Zhu and the Chinese national team have won several gold medals in international competition, including in the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2019 World Cup. Since her debut in 2011, Zhu has received 15 MVP awards at all levels of competition (include national team and clubs), particularly the MVP award of Rio Olympic Games 2016. She is widely regarded as one of the most decorated and successful indoor volleyball players of all time. She was the highest paid professional volleyball player in the world, male or female, as of the 2018-2019 season.

Yang Hao (simplified Chinese: 杨昊; traditional Chinese: 楊昊; pinyin: Yáng Hào; born 21 March 1980 in Dalian, Liaoning) is a retired Chinese female volleyball player. She was a member of the Chinese team that won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Zhou Suhong (simplified Chinese: 周苏红; traditional Chinese: 周蘇紅; pinyin: Zhōu Sūhóng; born 23 April 1979 in Changzing, Huzhou, Zhejiang) is a Chinese volleyball player, who was a member of the Chinese women's national team that won the gold medal at both the World Cup and the Athens Olympic Games. She is an opposite hitter. She is married to former Chinese men's national volleyball team member Tang Miao. She wears uniform number 7. Her hobbies include music and reading and Zhou is currently studying at Zhejiang University.

Wang Yimei (Chinese: 王一梅; pinyin: Wáng Yīméi; born 11 January 1988 in Dalian, Liaoning) is a Chinese volleyball player. She lives in Liaoning Province. She played her first match for China in 2005 and has represented the national side at the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, where she was second leading scorer only behind the American player Logan Tom and China won the bronze medal, and also represented at the London 2012 Summer Olympics.

Xu Yunli (simplified Chinese: 徐云丽; traditional Chinese: 徐雲麗; pinyin: Xú Yúnlì; born 2 August 1987) is a Chinese volleyball player. She was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2006 Asian Games and the silver medal winning team at the 2007 World Grand Prix.

Yuan Xinyue (Chinese: 袁心玥; pinyin: Yuán Xīnyuè; born 21 December 1996) is a Chinese volleyball player who plays as a Middle Blocker. She is the captain of the China women's national volleyball team and plays for Tianjin Bohai Bank. At 2.03m, Yuan is the tallest player in the history of the Chinese Women's Volleyball Team. Her impressive height advantage allows her to have a formidable presence at the net, and she is widely considered one of the key players in the team alongside her teammates Zhu Ting and Zhang Changning.

Wei Qiuyue (Chinese: 魏秋月; pinyin: Wèi Qiūyuè; born 26 September 1988) is a retired Chinese volleyball player. She was the captain of China women's national volleyball team from 2008 and 2012.

Zhang Changning (simplified Chinese: 张常宁; traditional Chinese: 張常寧; pinyin: Zhāng Chángníng; born 6 November 1995) is a Chinese indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player. She is a member of China women's national volleyball team. At the club level, she plays for Jiangsu Zenith Steel.
