Guðmundur Þórður Guðmundsson (born 23 December 1960) is an Icelandic handball coach and former player. In 2016, he guided Denmark men's team to gold in the 2016 Olympics. In 2008, he won silver with the Icelandic men's national team at the 2008 Olympic games in China. As a player, he won the Icelandic championship six times and the Icelandic cup four times with Víkingur Reykjavík. Guðmundur also played for the Icelandic national team for a decade, participating in two Olympics and two IHF World Handball Championship.

Ólafur Indriði Stefánsson (born 3 July 1973) is an Icelandic former handball player who, for many years was the captain of the Iceland men's national handball team but announced his international retirement after the 2012 London Olympics. His position was right back. At his peak he was considered to be one of the very best handball players in the world. As a player for his national team, his goal tally of 1570 is third only to the Hungarian Péter Kovács and Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson. He is also one of the most enduring handball players of all times, being a senior field player since 1992. He was voted Icelandic Sportsperson of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2008 and 2009. He won silver with the Icelandic handball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, as well as bronze at the 2010 European Championship.

Guðjón Valur Sigurðsson (born 8 August 1979) is an Icelandic retired handball player and current coach of VfL Gummersbach. A captain of the Iceland men's national handball team, Guðjón Valur broke the world record for most goals scored in international men's handball in 2018. He won silver with the Icelandic handball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, as well as bronze at the 2010 European Championship.

Snorri has previously played for TV Grosswallstadt, GWD Minden, Rhein-Neckar Löwen and GOG. He is the son of former sports journalist Guðjón Guðmundsson.

Ásgeir Örn Hallgrimsson (born 17 February 1984) is an Icelandic former handball player. After starting his career with Haukar, he went on to play several seasons professionally around Europe, including with GOG and TBV Lemgo. He announced his retirement following the 2019–2020 season. Ásgeir played 247 games for the Icelandic national team, scoring 414 goals, and competed with the team at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics.
