Bekim Fehmiu (Albanian: [bɛˈkim fɛhˈmiu]; Cyrillic: Беким Фехмију; 1 June 1936 – 15 June 2010) was a Yugoslavian theater and film actor. He was the first Eastern European actor to star in Hollywood during the Cold War, and one of the internationally best-known ethnic Albanian actors.

Zilha Armenulić (née Bajraktarević; 10 February 1939 – 10 October 1976), known professionally as Silvana Armenulić (pronounced [silvǎːna armɛ̌nulit͡ɕ]), was a Yugoslavian singer-songwriter and actress and one of the most prominent commercial folk music and traditional sevdalinka singers in Yugoslavia. She is called the "Queen of Sevdalinka". Her life was cut short when she died in a car crash at the age of 37, but she continues to be well regarded in the region and she is recognized for her unique singing style and voice. Armenulić's song "Šta će mi život" (What Do I Need a Life for), written by her friend and contemporary Toma Zdravković, is one of the best-selling singles from the former Yugoslavia. Two of her sisters were also professional singers: Mirsada "Mirjana" Bajraktarević and Hajrudina "Dina" Bajraktarević.

3. Mustafa Nadarević (1943 - 2020)

Mustafa Nadarević (2 May 1943 – 22 November 2020) was a Bosnian actor. Widely considered one of the greatest actors from the former Yugoslavia, he starred in over 70 films, including The Smell of Quinces (1982), When Father Was Away on Business (1985), Reflections (1987), The Glembays (1988), Kuduz (1989), Silent Gunpowder (1990), The Perfect Circle (1997), Days and Hours (2004), Mirage (2004) and Halima's Path (2012). More recently, Nadarević was best known for playing Izet Fazlinović in the sitcom Lud, zbunjen, normalan from the beginning of the series in 2007 until his death in 2020.

Branko Đurić (Cyrillic: Бранко Ђурић; born 28 May 1962), also known by his nickname Đuro (Cyrillic: Ђуро), is a Bosnian-born Serbian actor, comedian, film director and musician, who lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Born and raised in Sarajevo, Đurić rose to prominence throughout Yugoslavia during the 1980s on the hit comedy series Top lista nadrealista. Đuro became something of an epitome for the Bosnian people, primarily due to his accent and slang. He was also one of the founding members of SCH and the frontman of the award-winning Sarajevo rock band Bombaj Štampa. In August 1992, several months into the Bosnian War, he moved to Slovenia where he has been residing ever since. He has starred in the Academy Award-winning film No Man's Land and has had supporting roles in numerous high-profile films, including The Smell of Quinces, Time of the Gypsies, Kuduz, Bal-Can-Can, In the Land of Blood and Honey and See You in Montevideo. He has also created the comedy series Naša mala klinika, which has spawned an entire franchise with Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian counterparts.

Semka Sokolović-Bertok (22 December 1935 – 4 March 2008) was a Bosnian and Croatian actress. She also was a competitive chess player in her youth, winning the Croatian Chess Juniors Championship eight times.

Jasna Diklić (born March 8, 1946) is a Bosnian theatre and film actress. She was born in Sarajevo. Her mother was also an actress and a puppeteer. Diklić's first theatre experiences began at MESS Festival's experimental theatre studio, after which she proceeded to study acting at the Department of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. She was first engaged professionally by Banja Luka's National Theatre in 1969. Shortly thereafter, she was hired by a small Sarajevo theatre presently known as Kamerni Teatar 55. She has appeared in over 150 theatre and film roles. She has won a number of awards for her roles and is one of the founders of The Sarajevo War Theatre. In 2017, she has signed the Declaration on the Common Language of the Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks and Montenegrins.

Ivana Miličević (Croatian pronunciation: [ǐʋana milǐːt͡ʃevit͡ɕ]; born April 26, 1974) is a Bosnian-born actress and model based in the United States, best known for her starring roles in the Cinemax action-drama series Banshee (2013–2016) and The CW science fiction drama series The 100 (2018–2020). Miličević had roles in films such as Vanilla Sky (2001), Down with Love (2003), Love Actually (2003), Just like Heaven (2005), Casino Royale (2006), Running Scared (2006), What's Your Number? (2011), and Catfight (2016). She guest starred in numerous television series, including Seinfeld (1997), Felicity (1998–1999), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2002), Friends (2003), Charmed (2003), One on One (2004), American Dad! (2006–2008), Ugly Betty (2007), Chuck (2008), Power, and Gotham (2016–2017).

Srđan Aleksić (Serbian Cyrillic: Срђан Алексић; 9 May 1966 – 27 January 1993), nicknamed Srđo, was a Bosnian Serb amateur actor, prospective swimmer, and soldier in the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) during the Bosnian War. He saw his neighbour, an ethnic Bosniak, being harassed by a group of VRS soldiers, whom he then tried to stop; the soldiers turned on Aleksić, beating him with their rifle butts until he fell into a coma. He died a week later at the hospital. He has received several posthumous awards for his act, viewed of as deeply heroic in a time of bloody war. A documentary about his life, Srđo, was made by RTS in 2007.
