Sumedang is a town in Western Java, Indonesia, approximately 46 km northeast of Bandung, the provincial capital. It is the capital of Sumedang Regency. The town's two administrative districts (kecamatan) have a combined area of 125.32 km2 and had a population of 187,795 as at mid 2024.
