Wladimir Peter Köppen (German pronunciation: [vlaˈdiːmiːɐ̯ ˈkœpn̩, ˈvlaːdimiːɐ̯ -], born Vladimir Petrovich Kyoppen (Russian: Влади́мир Петро́вич Кёппен); 25 September 1846 – 22 June 1940) was a Russian-German geographer, meteorologist, climatologist and botanist.
